About
At the age of 10 I was given a Halina compact and that was it I was hooked. Through my teen years I used a Zenith SLR which was crude to say the least but it did for me. Moving on to Canon gear later I enjoyed my exploits as a keen but naive photographer. Work and general life took over in my mid twenties so the gear was put away. Now in my forties I am enjoying a revival in photography and during the last four years have come to grips with digital and now use Nikon Pro DSLRs. The industry has changed tremendously with computers and image manipulation being a key element to imaging. Life is a learning curve and I embrace this principle in my attitude towards my images. New techniques for manipulation seem to appear every week. Trends change, the "in thing" comes and goes but essentially no technique in photoshop or presentation can help if the original image lacks interest. We all see things differently and if my images convey to the customer either what I or they intended then the shot is a success.
